Exams

We will have two in-class midterm exams.
The first midterm exam will be Thursday, October 5.
The second midterm exam will be Thursday, November 16.

Final Exam

There will be a comprehensive final exam on Thursday, December 14 from 8-10 p.m.

Homework

We will have weekly homework assignments, which will typically be due on Tuesdays. No late homework will be accepted.

Homework Policy

You are allowed, even encouraged, to discuss the homework problems with one another. However, the work you turn in must represent your own understanding and be expressed in your own words.

Quantum Field Theory

This is an introductory course in Quantum Field Theory. We will cover gauge theory, field quantization, path integrals and Feynman diagrams, using quantum electrodynamics as our primary example.
